Residency 10 - Spring 2026
The Chemical Telegraph – Olga Inozemtseva, Natalia Grekhova, Alexey Korzukhin, Lidiya Gumenyuk & Gleb Andreev

Where Dogs Run was founded in 2000 in Yekaterinburg (Russia) and is based in Slovenia. Members are Natalia Grekhova, Alexey Korzukhin and Olga Inozemtseva. The group works in the field of technological art, including robotics, hybrid installations, and performance, combining scientific research tools with low-tech aesthetics. Their projects explore chemical communication between bio- and cyber-organisms, the computational capacities of environments (living and non-living), the cultivation of memory with bacteria, and non-human optics for observing humans as part of the technobiosphere. They create complex hybrid systems or situations designed to reveal psychological and social mechanisms that, while remaining unnoticed, shape everyday reality. The group has worked with ZKM (Germany), Goethe-Institut (Germany, Russia), KIBLA Multimedia Center (Slovenia), KGLU (Slovenia), Laznia CCA (Poland), M HKA (Belgium), Ars Electronica (Austria), Kersnikova Institute (Slovenia), and others.
Lidiia Gumeniuk is an independent interdisciplinary researcher, culture producer, and practical philosopher. Gleb Andreev is an engineer and programmer in cultural projects and collaborates with ‘Where Dogs Run’ and other artists. Both are based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
